8800 “Roshan Gharana” Solar Panel Scheme Latest|2024

Punjab Government introduced 8800 “Roshan Gharana” Solar Panel scheme which is wonderful initiative. This Scheme is launched by Prime Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, especially for those people who use up to 500 electricity units.

The government introducing this 8800 “Roshan Gharana” Solar Panel scheme in various phases. The basic purpose of this 8800 “Roshan Gharana” Solar Panel scheme is to provide 50,000 homes with solar electricity in first phase.

In second phase, consumer of electricity ranges between 200 to 500 will be allocated solar panels with zero (without) interest.

The people who consume electricity more than 500 units will have to pay 25% amount, while 75% payment will be paid from government of Punjab.

Furthermore, PM announced that 50,000 families are eligible for 1KV Solar system but for grant this opportunity only those families will be eligible who used 100 units (per month) from last six months.

Eligibility Criteria for The 8800 Solar Panel Scheme

Government of Punjab set some specific criteria to apply for this opportunity. Those families who fulfill the criteria will be eligible for “Roshan Gharana” Scheme. Criteria specifications are:

• Should have a Pakistani Identity Card(CNIC)
• Should belongs to Punjab (if you live another part of Pakistan and belongs to Punjab will also be eligible)
• Should not be Government employ
• Should have their last six months’ electricity bills

There are various methods to register for 8800 solar panel scheme.

First method is visit nearest Punjab bank branch. In the bank you have asked for “Roshan Gharana” registration scheme forms. Agent will provide you this form. Now you should to fulfil this registration form and attached all mentioned documents with this registration form. Then this form gives back to the agent.

The government of Punjab provide 8800 code to check the eligibility and registration online without visiting the Punjab bank. 

This online registration method is too easy to get a solar panel from government.

Just write your name and CNIC number and send message to the 8800 from your mobile phone. You’ll receive a respond with a unique application number and a link to online application from 8800. Now you click the link and access the browser.

Then a registration form will appear, now you need to fulfil and attach your mentioned documents with the form. Finally, you can submit your application by click submit.

Now your application is submitted successfully.
